Messages, files & support
Know which files are personal and which you have shared. Keep conversations organised, follow updates and find the right help.
01
Keep conversations organised
Open Messages, or use a profile’s Discuss a project or Contact client action. Check the recipient before sending.
Message attachments belong to that conversation. A copied private attachment link is not a public portfolio link. Record important scope decisions in the commission’s quote, agreement or accepted change proposal.
02
Separate personal files from project attachments
My Work → My files & notes is your personal workspace for references, drafts and notes. Uploading there does not automatically give a collaborator access.
To share a file in a commission, select it in the project’s Attach private uploads controls when submitting a delivery or feedback. This grants the project participants access to that attached record. Submitted attachments are retained with their version.
To share work publicly, add it to your profile and submit the profile for review. Keep your own backup of important work.
03
Check storage and upload limits
Your account’s Storage panel shows its current shared allowance, remaining space and per-file limits. Profile media, workspace files and sent message attachments use that allowance.
If an upload fails, check the allowed file type, size and remaining space, then follow the error shown. Wait for an upload to finish before selecting it for delivery.
Files retained in submitted project records or approved profiles may be protected from removal. Review what uses a file before deleting it and save a local backup first.
04
Follow website and Discord updates
Use the notification bell for recent activity and My Work → Work updates to return to a commission. Mark read clears unread status while retaining the destination.
If you link Discord, you can choose optional private activity notifications. Public Discord identity is a separate choice. Manage account connections.
When there is no action button, check your role and the project’s status. Closed projects have fewer controls; a change or delivery may need the other person’s response.
05
Ask for the right help
Open Support → Get help and choose the topic. Signed-in members can also use My Work → Support to send a request and follow replies.
Include the page, what you tried, the exact error and a project reference when relevant. Leave passwords, sign-in codes and private access tokens out of screenshots.
Use Report a concern where available for a profile issue. If you need optional profile or project advice, Services carries your selected service into the enquiry.
Support helps with platform issues. Current commissions do not include protected payments or automatic refunds.
