Discord & Roblox account connections
Link an account, choose its public visibility and understand the difference between member connections and server installation.
01
Connect Discord and choose what is public
Open Discord connection from your profile or account tools. Follow the Discord authorisation flow with the account you intend to link.
Public Discord identity is a separate choice. Linking your account does not automatically publish its identity on your profile. Optional private activity notifications have their own controls.
Review the current connection status and settings after returning to A.R.X.
Choose where your work is shared
On Discord connection, choose a sharing scope for your profile and a default for listings: website only, A.R.X. Discord, or participating communities. Each listing can override its default. If you have never chosen a scope, your content stays website-only.
Sharing still requires public approval and the receiving server’s rules. Turning it off removes the shared Discord copies without deleting the website listing. It is separate from showing your Discord identity or receiving private notifications.
02
Connect your Roblox account
Open Roblox connection and follow Roblox’s account-linking flow. On return, check the linked username and confirmation status.
Choose whether the linked Roblox identity appears on your approved public profile. This connection is optional: you can still use a marketplace profile without it.
Account linking confirms the connected identity. It is separate from A.R.X. profile review and does not prove game authorship, project credits or ownership of a portfolio item.
03
Disconnect or change a connected account
Use the connection page’s disconnect action when you no longer want the account linked. Review the resulting status and public visibility, then connect the intended replacement account if needed.
Disconnecting an identity does not cancel a commission or replace the project’s participants. Keep your collaborator informed through the project record when a contact detail changes.
04
Understand server installation
A personal Discord connection and a server bot installation are separate steps. Linking identifies the member; the server install link authorises the bot in the selected community.
If you manage a server, use Set up your Discord server and follow the community guide. A regular account is enough; marketplace verification is not required for community-only setup.
05
Troubleshoot a connection
Check that you authorised the intended account and returned to the connection page. Follow any displayed error or missing-authority message before trying another account.
If the status is unclear, contact Support with the connection type, stage and visible error. Do not include passwords, sign-in codes or access tokens.
