Manage your commission

Keep the agreed terms, delivery versions and feedback together. See what needs a response, record changes and finish the project clearly.

Practical steps · Updated 5 October 2026

01

Find your next action

Open My Work → Commissions. Start with Needs your attention for requests, quotes, applications, agreements, deliveries and sharing approvals waiting for you.

Open a project to see its next action, status, brief, agreed terms and history. Other filters help you find incoming work, sent requests, active projects and closed commissions.

02

Submit a delivery version

Use Post update for progress and questions. When the agreed work is ready, the creator opens Submit a delivery version, adds the delivery details and selects any intended private uploads.

Use Upload a project file if you need to upload first, then select it in Attach private uploads. Check access settings on any external delivery links.

Choose Submit delivery for review. The submission keeps its own version and the terms attached to it. Submitted files stay with that record; a later delivery does not replace the earlier one.

Personal workspace files remain private unless you deliberately attach them to a project record or share them in a conversation. Project attachments are accessible to the project participants and platform administrators.

03

Give feedback on the exact version

Under Delivery versions & feedback, open the intended delivery and use Add feedback to this version. Describe the issue, location and expected result; attach a reference when useful.

Feedback stays tied to that submission. General feedback does not automatically request a revision, change agreed scope or complete the project.

As the client, use Request an included revision and Request revision when an included revision is available. The workspace shows how many have been used.

04

Agree on a change before doing extra work

Open Changes to scope, price or deadline → Propose a change. Record the proposed terms and reason, then choose Send change proposal.

The other participant reviews the proposal and chooses Accept proposed terms or Decline proposal and keep current terms. The proposer can withdraw a pending proposal.

Current terms remain in effect until both people accept the change. Earlier deliveries retain the terms recorded for their submission.

05

Complete, review and hire again

Review the latest deliverables against the agreed terms. When satisfied, the client confirms that they reviewed the work and chooses Approve delivery and complete. Follow the completion action shown for your project.

Completed work remains in project history. Each participant can leave one completed-project review. These ratings are shown separately from general profile feedback.

Use Hire again to start a new request with the same creator. A case study starts privately and needs the collaborator’s sharing permission and platform review before publication.

06

Handle cancellation or a blocked action

For direct commissions, Propose mutual cancellation sends a proposal; the other participant can agree or keep the project open. For a listing project, follow its recorded agreement and available controls, and contact Support if you need help with the website.

If an action is missing, check your role, project status, accepted terms and whether a newer version needs review. Some actions belong to the client, others to the creator.

Acceptance, completion and cancellation do not charge, release or refund money. Participants handle payments and refunds directly.
